Dave | | | Two small updates 1st November 2009, 21:04 | Login to comment... | I've added on the 'My Page' section, a quick count of the scenarios by year you've played and fixed the popularity ratings for scenarios. They're still not perfect, primarily because the data between Roar and the archive is matched on exact name - which leads some scenarios to be miscounted, but is better than how it was before, which was on a Soundex algorithm which was producing too many matches.
Thanks, Dave. | | | Monkeys With Typewriters pack released! 6th October 2009, 20:33 | Login to comment... | | The archive is once again happy to host the latest scenarios from the Monkeys with Typewriters. This time their action is focussed on Ostfold, with 12 scenarios from 12 different designers. Head over to the Ostfold publication page for more details and the link to the scenarios. | | | Dezign Pack 2 Now Available! 30th May 2009, 17:19 | Login to comment... | The great guys as ESG have released their Dezign Pack 2 for sale on the Archive Shop. It's priced at $15 and has 12 great scenarios in there, including the monster Symphony of Violence and the popular Road Kill which having played I can attest to the balance of.
All the scenarios are available at $1.50 and if you've previously purchased any scenarios from this pack a discount will automatically be applied.

| Scenario of the Month: November |
| Scenario | Comment | User | | Wikings Catwalk | The rain became heavy early and stayed all game. James did not attack hard enough and had high rolls towards the end to make it very dificult to win | custardpie | | Refuse to Retire | VASL-Fun scenario & opponent. I made a mistake in play that could have changed the outcome. The terrain is brutal to move & fight in. | jrwusmc | | Men Against Tanks | Lots of US squads but difficult attacking terrain makes it tough to get forwards. Getting bazookas up to the Pz IVs in one piece seems to be key. | paulj | | Tedium | Played with the errata (making it 50% harder for the Germans and I still won in 3 turns - with 5.5 turns to spare) | Dave | | Smiling Albert | Another good one. It looks hard on the Americans but the SSR's for soft ground and 2 MP's per hex for AFV's tended for funnel the Germans onto the road. This one is all about exit VP's for the German player. | marvinrb |

| Site Feedback | | This site is fantastic. Thanks to you I'm discovering I have scenarios in old wargaming magazines that I didn't even know about. Kudos! Mark H. | | Great site! I used CoW for years, and this is even better - thanks! Vic L., Vandalia OH, ASL since 91 |
